Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada by her character in the film Bo. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. The daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of her earliest memories of existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of plays. Silk was a part of a variety of commercials while she was young. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved in Toronto for her acting to advance, then after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors Workshop. The couple got married in December of 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in the Jewish ceremony in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's son was born May of 2013, and her son was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron was her second born son on 13 May 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as Bo Dennis, the lead character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans the good announcement that she became pregnant during the filming of Season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive to promote Season Three. This was shown by Showcase during the special Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the premiere. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th, 2013 that the series was returning in its production. The fourth season debuted on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren the actress (Zoie) one of their top television couple. Entertainment Television.
